Beautiful Mother of Pearl Clouds over Kiruna on 11 January 2000

On 11 January 2000 people in the Kiruna area could see some spectacular clouds on the sky. These clouds are formed as cold airmasses pass over the Scandinavian mountain range and thereby suffer further cooling.Click on the images to see them in higher resolution.
